Choose what you send.
The extension reads a webpage only after you click Capture this article. It stores the captured source locally until you choose to upload it.
When you capture a source, the extension handles:
- The current page URL and readable article text.
- Article title, author, publication, date, DOI, and qualifications when available.
- Any citation corrections or argument notes you enter manually.
It does not collect:
- Browsing history or content from tabs you did not capture.
- Cookies, publisher passwords, school-library passwords, or payment data.
Nothing is sent to Kut.cards until you select queued sources and click Send selected to Kut.cards. Uploads use HTTPS and enter your private account queue for quick or AI card cutting.
