Ruth Igielnik 7/21/24 “How Kamala Harris Performs Against Donald Trump in the Polls” https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/21/us/politics/kamala-harris-trump-polls.html My primary responsibility is working on The New York Times/Siena College Poll. I lead the development of the questions we ask voters, then analyze and report on the poll’s findings. Much of our work is focused on understanding how voters feel about upcoming elections, but we also probe the underlying issues driving these attitudes, capturing views across the political and demographic spectrum. You can read more here about how The Times/Siena Poll works and submit your own questions to our team. // $tobo

Trump. Across recent polls, Ms. Harris trails Mr. Trump by two percentage points nationally, 46 percent to 48 percent, according to The New York Times’s polling average on Sunday.
