Pollster aligned with President Joe Biden's administration claimed victory for the president among a key demographic following the presidential debate on Thursday. Matt A. Barreto, the co-founder of BSP Research, a Latino polling firm, and a senior adviser for the Building Back Together organization, shared a video on X, formerly Twitter, from Univision following the debate between Biden and former president Donald Trump. "Of undecided Latino voters, nearly every single undecided voter said they now support Biden, not Trump! Latinos were watching and listening and Trump sounded like a crazy liar. Watch this video clip from @uninot," Barreto wrote. Barreto explained to Newsweek via email that the Univision news segment was focused on voters in Phoenix, Arizona. "It was clear that Biden won over a majority of undecided Latinos in Arizona. These undecided Latino voters who watched the debate thought Biden addressed the issues with clear answers and they thought Trump just spouted mentiras, mentiras, mentiras, lies, lies, lies," Barreto told Newsweek.
