Catastrophe here can’t reach other parts of a massive space

Theoretically or in practical humans do not have the energy enough to destroy the whole universe . All the nuclear weapons on earth can't even destroy the Jupiter.
But there can be many natural events that can cause the extinction of the universe . First of them can be a super super massive black holes .
Secondly there can be collisions of galaxies but the likelihood of it happening is very rare .
The important thing to know is that the universe is expanding , thus an apocalypse in part of the universe will not affect the other end.
But Scientists have a belief that once the universe stops expanding it will start contracting to the single point from where all it began , that is the reverse of big bang.
